Our History
Laya Services LLC – Non-Medical Home Care was born from the experience and vocation of its founder, Yanisleidis Ferrer, who for years worked directly with patients in various conditions: veterans, individuals in wheelchairs, patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, cognitive disabilities, physical limitations, and vision impairments.
After caring for so many patients and witnessing the gratitude on their faces, she realized there was a significant need for care that is human, empathetic, and professional. However, she eventually reached a point where she could no longer meet the growing demand alone.
From this reality came the idea of creating Laya Services LLC Non-Medical Home Care: a company with a team prepared to provide the same level of quality, personalized attention, and warmth that had characterized her individual work.
The philosophy of the company is based on the belief that a patient is not just a client, but a person with dreams, emotions, and dignity. At Laya Services, care is delivered with love, respect, and empathy, ensuring that patients always feel important, valued, and motivated to live.
